MIKHEIZIN, T. [266]
Edges being cut by ploughing. Few fired bricks on surface, also glass fragments, bronze coins and redware sherds. Outlines of buried mud brick buildings visible. Satellite images from 2007 shows the mound is cut by a modern compound with a surrounding wall at the south. The main surviving part lies south of the tarmac road, but a small portion is present on the north-west side. Since the photographs opposite were taken in 1990, a large walled compound has been built on the edge of the mound.
