GANADI, K.- [617]
This small site was inspected by Penny Wilson for the Delta Survey in 2004, who reports as follows: The remaining site here is underneath a cemetery attached to a village, with an area where animals are stabled between them. The actual mound is about 2m high and the whole site measures around 50 by 140 m. There was very little pottery lying on the surface of either the cemetery or village, but some was recovered from the ditch around the site. The fields beyond the mound may have contained some sherds, but were not checked.
Other activity: The 2009 survey by Mohamed Kennawi recorded remains of a wine production facility at the site.
