Once part of Tell Moqdam. Friedman-Buck survey 1992: Third Intermediate Period and Roman remains. The western two-thirds of the site was cultivated until cleared for excavation in about 1989 by SCA (Abdel Fattah), who dug 100 2 x 2 test pits revealing stratified mud brick architecture and pottery, in an area now overbuilt by sports facility. Water-table lies approximately one metre below surface. The remaining one-third of the site was uncultivated and covered by halfa grass in 1992. Finds: Human bone, slag, granite and limestone pieces, horse and rider figurine, imported amphorae, one pottery base dated to Third Intermediate Period.

Listed in Koms à Sebakh:12.
