The site lies on the crossroads of the road to Tamalay. In about 1920 some people lived here in a village called Kom el Ahmar. Under the ground we were told that the villagers have found red-brick walls. They showed us a few bricks which appear similar to those seen at bath houses, e.g. at Sersenna. Many potsherds were found in the fields.
