Tell ed-Daba (332)

Archaeological site consisting of a low mound covered with Roman pottery fragments and pieces of fired brick. The north and east sides have been cut buy the creation of lagoons for fish-farms. Egypt Exploration Society Delta Survey no. 332. On zooming out from this image the nearby site of Kom el-Gir (EES no. 331) will show about 1 km to the SSE of Tell ed-Daba, and, about 4 km in a south-westerly direction, the major site of the ancient city of Buto (Tell el-Farain, EES no. 4).
