1996 map.
Visited by J and P Spencer in 1997. The site is crossed by the road from Shirbin to El-Hamul and mostly covered by houses of the village. Some free areas of mound, elevated 3-4m above fields to SW of road showed sections of pure black mud without archaeological content. Being reclaimed for agriculture. Apparently a natural or artificial mud-mound without archaeological content. |
