Kom el-Gill

Archaeological site consisting a a substantial mound, with one quadrant at the SE levellled to fields. Shown on the Survey of Egypt 1:100,000 (1916) map under name "Tell el-Gilla". Partly overbuilt by a cemetery and houses. The highest area of the mound appears to be under the cemetery. Egypt Exploration Society Delta Survey no. 628.
